Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the United States

Creating a DoGo Map
A team of developers and designers ran through this activity with our customer last week. It was an interesting and worthwhile exercise. We had two teams do this simultaneously in an hour and then compared, contrasted, and eventually merged the output. It was a great way to build concensus while identifying parts of a product that the team was more vague on than they initially thought.
I plan on integrating this activity into v2 of the Product Lab.
Crowdsourcing CTO/VPE Learning Circles
Ignore the tag about CTO & Vice Presidents of Engineering, this is a good description of setting up your own Mastermind group or small community of folks with a shared interest or job function. If you do technical work, I recommend you spend some time with Will Larson’s blog.

Irregular Cafe Schedule
I’ll be running Irregular.Cafe sessions next week on the following days/times (all times in EST):
Monday, November 30, 7:30-8:00am
Wednesday, December 2, 7:30-8:00am
Friday, December 4, 7:30-8:00am
I’m considering a bookclub as part of the Cafe in December, reading either Alex Hillman’s Tiny MBA or Seth Godin’s The Practice. Both are short, non-linear, and perfect for a drop-in book club. Have a preference? Reply to this email and let me know!
